Maddie Flynn was born with a unique ability; she always sees a unique set of digits above the head of every person she has ever met. Her family has never known what this means--until her father dies unexpectedly. That's when the connection is made; every number Maddie sees is a person's death date. Cursed this strange ability, her now acholic mother forces her to use it to make extra money. But after Maddie predicts the death date of a client's son, and he goes missing on that exact date, law enforcement comes to speak with her. Her ability does not reveal how only when, not giving them much insight. But suddenly, Maddie is part of  a homicide investigation, as more and more young people disappear and are found murdered.

This story is quite unique, combining mystery/thriller/sci-fi. This is what some would consider a "clean read"; there is nothing graphic or lots of fowl language in this chilling mystery. The story is so exciting and fast paced, don't be surprised if you read it in one night!
